1. About these terms
These terms apply to the website westernsupply.com.au and to the procurement services provided by Western Supply (ABN 26 638 806 750), based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. By using this website or engaging Western Supply for a quote or supply, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
For any questions about these terms, contact us at mike@westernsupply.au or on 0420 876 306.
2. What we do
Western Supply is a procurement business. We source kitchens, joinery, vanities and related fit-out products through a network of verified manufacturing partners, and we coordinate quality control, freight and delivery to your site. We supply product; we do not provide installation. Goods are typically supplied flat-packed for installation by your own trades.
3. Quotes
Quotes are provided free of charge and carry no obligation. A quote is an estimate based on the plans, specification and information you provide at the time. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote, or for 30 days where no period is stated. Pricing may change if the specification, quantities, scope or material costs change, or if the information originally provided turns out to be inaccurate or incomplete.
No contract for supply exists until you approve a production order in writing and any required deposit is received.
4. Orders, deposits and payment
Once you approve a production order, the specification is confirmed and production is scheduled. A deposit is required to commence production. The balance is payable on the terms set out in your individual supply agreement. All pricing and contracts are in Australian dollars (AUD). Our procurement margin is disclosed before any deposit is taken; it is not embedded in the product price.
Specification changes requested after a production order is approved may affect pricing and lead time. We will advise you of any such impact before proceeding.
5. Quality control
Every order is inspected before dispatch by an independent third-party inspector. Specification is checked against your approved drawings. Where an order does not meet the agreed specification, it does not ship until the issue is resolved. You receive inspection documentation as part of this process. Specific quality, remediation and warranty arrangements are set out in your individual supply agreement.
6. Delivery and lead times
Lead times quoted are estimates based on current production and freight schedules at the time of quoting. While we coordinate freight to align with your build programme, delivery timing can be affected by manufacturing schedules, shipping, customs and other factors outside our reasonable control. We will keep you informed of material changes to expected delivery.
7. Your project documentation
Plans and drawings you provide remain yours. We use them to prepare your quote and, once you approve a production order, to manufacture your order. To prepare an accurate quote and lead time, we share only what a manufacturing partner needs to price your job, because the price and timeline come from them, and we hold back identifying project and builder details where we can until you decide to proceed. We do not create drawings on your behalf; we quote from the drawings and specification you provide. Further detail is set out in our Privacy Policy.
8. Continuity of supply
Your factory order is contracted in your project name. In the unlikely event that Western Supply is unable to continue servicing an order mid-production, we will work to transfer the supplier relationship to you directly, so that you can complete the order. Your financial exposure in that situation is limited to amounts already paid.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Western Supply's liability for any claim arising from a supply is limited to the resupply of the affected goods or the cost of resupply. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or delay costs, to the extent that exclusion is permitted by law.
10. Website use
This website is provided for general information. While we aim to keep it accurate and current, we do not warrant that all content is complete, current or error-free. Illustrative figures shown on the website are examples only and are not a quote or a guarantee of outcome for any specific project. Your actual costs and savings depend on your specification, volume and scope, and are confirmed only in a quote prepared for your project.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last revised. Continued use of the website or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute relating to these terms or to our services is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
